Meka Olowola continues to foster credible partnerships with leaders across the globe who share a common vision of creating a secure enabling environment for future generations. His passion for sustainability and inclusive development has yielded positive outcomes both within and outside Nigeria.

Meka partnered with the Leadership Project in 2020 to host the maiden edition of the West African Business Leaders’ Summit. Lead speaker at the event was Mitch Barns, Founder of Second Half Advisors and former CEO, Nielsen Holdings.

In 2016, Meka Olowola was a co-sponsor of a Drug Abuse Awareness Programme organised by the University of Lagos, and in 2018, he organised the ‘Hope Beats Cancer’ walk with celebrities across the country.

Meka has served as Chairman, Organising Committee of the Sustainability in the Extractive Industries (SITEI) conference for the past nine years. In 2017, he developed the brand strategy, communications framework and launched the Nigeria’s social intervention program for the financially challenged, which grew to become the world’s largest public microfinance initiative. He is a member of the Visions Community which collaborates with the Federal Government of Nigeria to actualise its economic development goals through the Horasis-Nigeria Economic Development Council.
